THE TOUR, STEP-BY-STEP

Ekain is located in the Sastarrain valley, 4 kilometres from exit 48 of the AP-8 highway, just half an hour from San Sebastián and very close to the other main cities of the Basque region.

The walk from the car park to Ekainberri takes 25 minutes on foot, but the time limit for collecting your entrance tickets from the Information Office in Zestoa is half an hour before the start of the tour. In case of making the purchase online, the tickets must be validated before the visit at the entrance to the museum.

  • Step 1: Leave your car in the car park and go to the Ekainberri Information Office to collect your entrance tickets. It is important to get there at least 30 minutes before your tour begins. It takes 5 minutes on foot.

  • Step 2: Collect your tickets and follow the path to the entrance to the replica of the Ekain cave, Ekainberri (20 minutes).

  • Step 3: You can now enter Ekainberri.

Important notes: Please read these instructions:

Vehicles may not enter Ekainberri. Entry is on foot only. Comfortable shoes are recommended for the walk.

Visitors should collect their tickets 30 minutes before the tour starts, otherwise the tickets will not be valid. Please be on time.
